Hello!
I have recently bought this theme and ran into several issues.
I have very limited knowledge about programming so any help would be greatly appreciated!
First, I installed the top horizontal menu from this site but when I tried to configure it, it doesn’t allow me to remove nor add any items.
Then another problem with this module is that it intersects with the slider on my page.
Secondly, I have a problem with the newsletter. I set it to enable verification but when I clicked on the verification link given in the email, it came to a server error. So I don’t know if it is a problem with the module or I have to contact my hosting platform?
Thirdly, how do I move my products on the page so that it aligns to the extreme left? Right now there is sort of like an indent.
Fourthly, I have already disabled Prestashop slider and deleted all the images. Yet when my page is loading, it appears and disappears when the page finish loading.
Fifth, how do I disable a link on a parent category in the top menu?
Sixth, I would like to know how can I change the background image for the newsletter and social media links.
Lastly, is it possible to remove the image and put the subcategories in a vertical manner for the top megamenu because I absolutely love the layout of it and I wouldn’t want to change it for the normal top horizontal menu.

Hi Crystalle.
1. You can use “Top Mega Menu” or “Top Horizontal Menu” which comes with the theme.
2. What theme version do you use? In the 1.7 this issue has been fixed.
3. It’s because you should to use left column on your shop. Like in our live demo: http://alysum.promokit.eu/en/3-women
4. You have three sliders with the theme, look at documentation. You should to disable each of them.
5. I can’t help you with this.

I still have a few issues regarding the solutions.
1. I am using the version in which you have gave me the link through another question in the forum, but I don’t know what version it is. If I install the 1.7 version, will it mean that all my personal configuration will be gone?
2. I don’t understand what you mean by using the left column on my shop. I have enabled the layered navigation block but it does not appear on my page and instead, leave a space between the extreme left and my products. How do I do it if I want it to appear in the page of my parent category on the menu but not the subcategory?
3. Yes, I understand that I have three sliders available. I have disabled the Prestashop slider and the Promo slider but the problem still exist.
4. For the solution you have provided me on the menu, it does not change the megamenu at all. The image is still present and it is still in a long horizontal form.
5. There is also this problem whereby I add a product to the cart, I click on the checkout at the top right corner, it brings me to the quickorder page and tells me that my cart is empty. But in my backoffice, it shows that I have added the item to the cart several times.

1. I don’t know what personal information do you mean, but try to use menu what comes with the theme.
2. I don’t know answer to this question, but you can try to find it in the official prestashop documentation: http://doc.prestashop.com/display/PS15/Managing+Modules+and+Themes
3. Try to add to the end of alysum.css file following css code:
1. #nivoSlider { overflow: hidden }
4. I need to see your shop
5. Please switch to default prestashop theme and check this issue in it.

Hello!
I am sorry to have confused you with my questions.
1. Where can I download the latest version (1.7) of the Alysum theme?
2. I would like my products to be aligned to the extreme left as indicated like the picture below. I have disabled the navigation block.
3. I would like the menu to look vertical without the image like the green box below instead of the red box.
4. For the cart problem, it also exist in the default prestashop theme. What can I do then?
5. When I login on the page, it directs me back to the same page without indicating that I have logged in. Is this suppose to happen?

1. You can download latest Alysum version in your themeforest account
2. add following code to your css:

3. Use default prestashop “Top Horizontal Menu”
4. If this issue exist in the default theme, so it’s a prestashop issue. You shuld to serach fix in prestashop forum.

I was not able to install version 1.7. It says bad configuration file.
I am using Prestashop 1.5.2.

Hi!
Thank you for all the advice and solutions that you have given.
Unfortunately, I still do have more enquiries.
1. I have used to code as stated above to align my page to the extreme left. But some pages are still hanging in the middle.
2. For the pages whereby it is properly aligned, there is a big gap on the right side instead which could fit another product. I would like to remove the gap.
3. How do I remove “my credit slips” and “my vouchers” from my-account page and remove “my vouchers” from the footer?
4. For the payment methods on checkout page, how do I edit the text?

Hi Crystalle.
If you want to customize your theme, you should find someone who can help you with this. We don’t provide such service at the moment.
1., 2. if you don’t want to use left column at all, you can add following code:
#left_column {display:none}
#center_column {width:100%}
3. you can remove them in this file: /modules/blockmyaccountfooter_ext/blockmyaccountfooter_ext.tpl
4. you should to find the tpl file of payment module and change the text. It can be here: modules/bankwire/ or here: modules/cheque/
