One more issue: the font logo stuck at Aclonica font, no matter what font I chose. How to fix this?

The the smarty cache should be disabled http://goo.gl/xndCV
Regenerate the thumbnails (preferences > images)
if won’t help
preferences > images
Move images button and after that again Regenerate the thumbnails
2) Font problem. Try with the disabled smarty cahche.
Try to reinstall Theme Settings module

I tweaked the logo and button colors, then the category menu icon is gone. Can you please help me with that too? What could go wrong?

The bugs i mention here before is solved. I read the page source code and found that the front page calls images like “home_default.jpg”, but in my server there is only “home.jpg”, without “_default”.
Turns out it because the image name changes that I made after installing which is based on arundo tutorial on how to set the images. I didn’t only change the size of the images, but also change the names so it fit your tutorial screenshot (in your tutorial, there is no “_default”, so I delete it from all the image names, this is how the disaster starts)
So my suggestion, you really need to correct/update your tutorial. I don’t know about the previous PS version but the 1.5 has “_default” at the end of the image name. The image names I mentioned here is on Preferences >> Images.
Please take a look at it. And I have other problems about language on other thread. I really need your help on that one.
