Hello guys,
I would like to “duplicate” the product carousel to have on the frontpage 2 blocks about the new and featured products as well.
Which part should I duplicate to be able to use the same module as a different one?
I have tried to duplicate and rename all the folders and the variables to have a possibility to use different settings on the 2 different modules, but something is wrong.
Could you please let me know how to have a duplicated carousel in 5-6 simple steps?

Did you succed at doing that?
I followed the instructions and I got another module but with the same features.
If I change one to “Featured products” the other changes too, I can’t have one with “featured products” and the other one with “New products”
even if i scroll one carousel the other also scrolls at the same time in the home page..

Hello jlopez.
It’s because both modules using the same variables and you should to change these variables in one of these modules.
for instance if you have variable “CAROUSEL_PRODUCTS_NUMBER” just rename it like this (or as you want) CAROUSEL_PRODUCTS_NUMBER_2
